Overall this video is great. Our daughter is two and loves Barney. My only complaint with this video is the “family” song. Barney and the kids sing, “A family is family and a family is love. That’s a family. They come in all different sizes and different kinds and mine’s just right for me.” The verses proceed to tell about different families like parents who are divorced, a grandma that is the head of the family, etc. The song is catchy, but I don’t support this view. While some kids may not be able to help the fact that their parents are divorced, I don’t necessarily believe that as Barney says, “Mine’s just right for me.” We choose to skip this track and enjoy the rest of the video. Had I known about that song in advance I would not have purchased the video.

Barney and friends are a wonderful collection of characters that show small children what to do in everyday life. They are great to use when teaching new concepts to children.

Its a wonderful DVD , full of singing & dancing, my daughter just loved it & it helps me to feed her, she just eats her veggies n fruits while watching this.
