Thus they'll be protected from further intrusion. The JailHost option doesn't suggest that you should not keep your websites up to date, but it'll significantly minimize the damage.

JailHost in Shared Hosting

If you host your websites within a shared hosting account from our firm, you'll be able to protect them by using the JailHost feature with just a couple of clicks within your Hepsia Control Panel. This option is available with all packages and can be activated for any folder because the domains and subdomains in Hepsia have separate folders, so that files for different Internet sites don't get mixed up like it regularly happens with other Control Panels. We haven't activated JailHost by default as you might use scripts that require access to folders outside the primary site folder and this option could interfere with their correct operation, but securing all other folders is simple and easy. In case a secured Internet site gets hacked for some reason, we can restore it very quickly because we'll have multiple daily backups of your entire account and you will even be able to browse the available backups through Hepsia.

JailHost in Semi-dedicated Hosting

JailHost comes with all of our semi-dedicated hosting packages and you'll be able to activate it with a couple of clicks. It is not activated by default because we do not want to prevent some scripts which need to gain access to multiple folders in the account from functioning properly. You can activate JailHost for all other Internet sites that you have from the Hepsia Control Panel and this can be done very easily even if you have no previous experience. What enables us to offer JailHost is the way in which Hepsia manages multiple domains - they all have individual folders which can be "locked". In comparison, other popular Control Panels feature add-on domains and the content of the latter is kept in the primary domain folder, so when a single site is hacked, the entire account is hacked, which is not the case with Hepsia. In the event that a site gets damaged despite your efforts, we'll be able to recover it the way it was almost instantly since we will store a few daily backups of the entire account.
